NSW: Fatal accident may have involved stolen car
SYDNEY, Dec 1 AAP - Police are investigating whether a car involved in a fatal accidentin Sydney's inner west overnight was stolen from a Sydney hotel.
A 20-year-old man crashed the Subaru WRX into a power pole on Salisbury Road, Newtown,shortly before midnight.
Police rescue squad freed the trapped driver but he died a short time later in RoyalPrince Alfred Hospital from his injuries, a spokesman said.
Officers are investigating reports the car was stolen from a Darling Harbour hotelearlier in the evening.
