The Columbia County Historical Society is looking for souvenirs from the 1909 celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the debut of Robert Fulton's steamboat and the 300th anniversary of Henry Hudson's voyage up the waterway that now bears his name.
In celebration of the joint anniversaries, a flotilla of boats from abroad and replicas of the first steamboat and the Halve Maen traveled north from New York City, with Hudson - the county seat - one of its mooring points. …
